Three Hundred and Sixty Five days are not enough to convey the rich history of people of African heritage, let alone the lone mainly twenty-eight days of February. However, February reminds us of our duty to recognize and appreciate the tremendous efforts and sacrifice that our ancestors and fellow brothers and sisters have made in order for us to exist today.
We realize that there are other figures who should be celebrated, and we take pride in knowing that there are many, many more who are not represented on this list of 28 Historical African Diaspora Figures. By no means are these the most significant people, nor are they listed in order of importance. We want to give praise.
